So, what's the story? 

Word+Design was started in 2011 with a focus on providing graphic design and brand consulting to companies in addition to selling and licensing digital art. At its foundation is a passion for using design to impact the way we think and live. Be it a brochure explaining a product or a visual representation of a verse, design plays an integral role in any message reaching its audience and achieving its purpose.

With over sixteen years in the field, I bring a mix of branding, graphic design and illustration skills to the table. Having earned a BA in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, I've since worked as a designer and illustrator in agency and corporate settings. My current clients range from industrial manufacturers to financial services companies to non-profits. Additionally, a portion of my scripture-based digital art is under license and being distributed as wall art to bookstores worldwide.

Outside of work, I volunteer in children's ministry and various other community organizations. In my free time (and depending upon the weather, of course) you'll find me cozied up in coffee shops or zooming around on my moped, taking advantage of the Lake Michigan lakefront.
